商品簡介
The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (LOSC) has provided a substantial framework for international legal instruments of fisheries management, but those instruments have not succeeded at stopping the continued depletion of fishery resources because individual states interpret and administer them. China has had many problems managing its fishing to reduce damage to the environment; this situation has led China to come into line with international fisheries law and policies, as evidenced by bilateral agreements with Japan, South Korea and Vietnam. This covers the situation leading to these agreements, China's domestic actions on resource management, and the mutual efforts toward sustainability of the marine environment in the region.
