商品簡介
This monograph by Biela (Catholic U. of Lublin, Poland) represents an interdisciplinary attempt to analyze decision making in dynamic economic decision situations. Strongly influenced by the decision-making research associated with Germany's U. of Mannheim, which brings together economics, social psychology, and vocational counseling, the monograph first presents the methodological basis for a behavioral economics interpretation of decision-making and then addresses the issue of information seeking in a dynamic decision situation. It also proposes a behavioral and cognitive interpretation of the pragmatic methodology of accounting (originally developed by Ronek in 1995) as appropriate for analyzing the costs and benefits related to searching for and obtaining new information and explores the concept of an economic decision situation and the problem of optimality of the decision to invest in in searching for new information.
