商品簡介
The 12 chapters in this volume describe the use of X-ray computed tomography and other imaging methods to evaluate soil and root systems and their interactions at multiple scales. In particular, synchrotron microtomography analyzes rhizosphere fluid transport, root-induced rhizosphere physical property changes, and biofilm architecture in porous media. Other contributors report on the need for image segmentation to allow quantitative characterization of pore features, the modeling of static and dynamics liquid behavior, and semivariograms for measuring porous media structural properties. B&w images are provided. Annotation c2013 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
