Gilbert Weiss is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Salzburg. Austria. He is the author or editor of several books, including European Union Discourses on Un/employment ( with Peter Muntigl and Ruth Wodak, 2000).
Ruth Wodak is Professor of Discourse Studies at Lancaster University, UK and head of the Wittgenstein Research Centre "Discourse-Politics-Identity" at the University of Vienna. Among other honours, she was awarded the Wittgenstein Prize for Elite Researchers in 1996. She has published many books; among the most recent are: The Discursive Construction and Representation of Politics in Action, The Construction of History. Remembering the War of Annihilation (with H. Heer, W. Manoschek, A. Pollak, translated from the German) ,and Voices of Migrants (with G. Delanty, P. Jones).
