John Rufus ― The Lives of Peter the Iberian, Theodosius of Jerusalem, and the Monk Romanus

Cornelia B. Horn (theological studies, early Christian literature, and Greek and Oriental patristics) and Robert R. Phenix (Hebrew Bible and early Christianity, both Saint Louis U.) offer an edition of three works by Rufus (fl.476-518), bishop of Maiuma, in Gaza, as part of his effort to support anti-Chaledonian Christians, ascetics, and married lay people in Palestine during the fifth and early sixth centuries. The Syriac original faces pages of English translation with footnotes on the text and its contents.
