商品簡介
An outgrowth of the development of the one-semester course in fluid mechanics that is required of all mechanical engineering students at MIT, this text emphasizes the important principles of the conservation of mass, momentum, and energy as they apply to a fluid. At each stage of the exposition, practical engineering problems are solved, principally in engineering systems such as dams, pumps, turbines, pipe flows, propellers, and jets, but with occasional illustrations from physiological and meteorological flows.
