Gatti investigates the multilayered complexity of representation of the spatio-temporal dimension in organizational Web discourse and the effects that such complexity produces on the construction of meaning. Her topics are a theoretical framework for discourse, methodology, narratives between time and space, spatio-temporal discourse structures and meanings in corporate Web texts, spatio-temporal meanings for the construction of organizational competence on the Web, and reconstructing time and space through action and making. Maria Cristina Gatti holds a PhD in English Studies and Linguistics and is Adjunct Professor of English Language at the University of Milan Bicocca and the University of Verona. Her research interests are in the fields of Discourse Analysis, Cognitive Linguistics, LSP, Multimodality and Discourse for the Web.
