商品簡介
If any topic is global, it would be the teaching of language, literature, and linguistics. Here we have eleven essays, the contributors of which focus on combining global issues and English teaching. They offer such topics as "when we teach we touch the future," queering English studies, language identity and "otherization" in conflict resolution, classification in African language, global citizenship ecocriticism and the teaching of literature, the (un) translatable odyssey, gender politics and sexual dissidence, the pedagogy of the oppressed eater, and multiple uses of a newspaper in Spanish.
