Sulkowski (economics, Jagiellonian U., Poland) conducts a deeply epistemological and theoretical reflection on the meaning of management. He examines the epistemology of organization and management, management science in a family of sciences, ethos in management science, the identity taken by organizational researchers, epistemological ideals of management, multi-paradigm approaches to management, cognition problems of modern management, interpretive problems, interpretive understanding of organizational strategies, epistemological foundations of critical management studies, and methodological eclecticism in management. Lukasz Sulkowski is Professor of Economics at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow (Poland), at Clark University (USA) and at the University of Social Sciences in Lodz (Poland). He has published numerous books and articles on cognitive and methodological problems of management and marketing, on the management of family enterprises, on organizational culture and human capital and management in the medical sector. He participated in several international research projects funded by the EU, the National Science Centre, the Committee for Scientific Research and the Ministry of Science.
