作者簡介
Alan M. Goldstein, PhD, ABPP, Professor Emeritus at John Jay College of Criminal Justice - CUNY, is widely recognized as an expert and speaker on forensic issues. He is board certified in forensic psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Psychology. He served as chair of the Ethics Committee of ABPP. He serves as an expert witness for defense and prosecuting attorneys on the state and federal levels, where his work includes evaluations for validity of Miranda rights waivers, trial competence, criminal sentencing, issues related to criminal responsibility, death penalty litigation, and future risk of violence. He also works with a number of law enforcement agencies.
Randy K. Otto, PhD, ABPP, Associate Professor, Department of Mental Health Law & Policy at the University of South Florida, maintains a private practice limited to forensic psychological evaluation in addition to his graduate-level teaching. He is board certified in both forensic and clinical psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and has served as President of the American Psychology-Law Society, the American Board of Forensic Psychology, and the American Academy of Forensic Psychology. He chaired the committee responsible for revising the Specialty Guidelines for Forensic Psychology, which were adopted by the American Psychological Association in 2011.
Kirk Heilbrun PhD is professor of Psychology at Drexel University. His current research focuses on juvenile and adult offenders, legal decision-making, forensic evaluation, and youth mentoring programs. His practice interests center around forensic assessment. He is board certified in Clinical Psychology and in Forensic Psychology, American Board of Professional Psychology, and is a past president of both the American Psychology-Law Psychology/APA Division 41, and the American Board of Forensic Psychology.
