Philosophy of mind is one of the core disciplines in philosophy. The questions that it deals with are profound, vexed and intriguing. Mark Sprevak obtained his PhD from the University of Cambridge, UK. He is a lecturer in philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, UK, and his primary research interests are in philosophy of mind, philosophy of science, and metaphysics, with particular focus on the cognitive sciences. His book, The Computational Mind, is forthcoming.

Jesper Kallestrup holds the Chair in Mental Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, UK. His research interests are primarily at the intersection of philosophy of mind, philosophy of language and epistemology. He is the author of Semantic Externalism (2011) and he has published more than 30 research articles in peer-reviewed journals.
