Each yearbook describes the structure, actions, and personnel of the Tribunal during the designated calendar year. During 2012, the Tribunal delivered its judgment in the dispute concerning delimitation of the maritime boundary between Bangladesh and Myanmar in the Bay of Bengal, heard oral arguments in the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines versus the Kingdom of Spain M/V "Louisa" case, extended the time-limitation for submitting a reply and rejoinder in the Virginia G case between Panama and Guinea-Bissau, and delivered an order prescribing provisional measures in the ARA Libertad case between Argentina and Ghana.
