Though the ecological problem is political, economic, cultural, and ethical, says Sahinidou, it is first a spiritual problem, related to the relationships of humanity with creation and the creator, a problem of humanity that exists in a distorted relationship with itself, God, the earth, and creation. She covers whether there is hope for her city of Athens, an ecofeminist perspective on the eco-crisis of the era, ecofeminist theologies challenging dualisms, trinitarian perichoresis, christological perichoresis, how christological perichoresis builds an ecofeminist worldview, and an ecofeminist perichoretic praxis in Athens.
