商品簡介
This critical sociolinguistic ethnography explores "locutorios" (ethnic call shops) in Barcelona, where migrant populations mobilise to challenge the global private telecommunications sector as well as present-day governments. These migrant-owned businesses act as a window into their multimodal and hybrid communicative practices, and into their own linguistic hierarchies and non-mainstream sociolinguistic orders.
