Johns Hopkins University Press published the 1977 edition, which was reissued in an expanded edition in 1986. Anderson (economics and marine studies, U. of Delaware) seems to have given up his plan to complete a third edition, and so contributes a preface to another printing explaining what he would change if he did. His guide considers fundamentals and a more complete analysis of fisheries economics, moving beyond the independent single species model, regulation, and other aspects.
