Herndon's Earth and the Dark Side of Science

The decades-old textbook version of Earth science is underlain by generations of models based upon assumptions, such as the assumption of whole-planet melting to explain core formation and the assumption of mantle convection to explain ocean floor topography. For forty years, instead of making assumption-based models, J.
