Routledge Handbook of International Resilience

Resilience is increasingly discussed as a key concept across many fields of international policy-making from financial crisis, sustainable development, insecurity, conflict and terrorism to urban and rural planning, international aid provision and the prevention of and responses to natural and man-made disasters.

David Chandler is Professor of International Relations and Director of the Centre for the Study of Democracy, Department of Politics and International Relations, University of Westminster. He is the founding editor of the journal Resilience: International Policies, Practices and Discourses.
