Dr. Harini Narayan completed her post-graduate training in India, and then worked for nearly three decades in the NHS as an obstetrician and gynaecologist, 20 years of which she has been as Consultant and Lead Obstetrician. Between 1994-97 she was Senior Lecturer / honorary Consultant in the University hospitals of Leicester during which time she was awarded an EC multi-centric grant for fetal neurology research.
NHS Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Lead Obstetrician in The Great Western Hospital( previously the Princess Margaret Hospital) Swindon, Wiltshire from 1997- to date.
Preceptor for RCOG trainees in Maternal Medicine, Advanced Antenatal Practice and Labour ward. Lead of Clinical Risk management in Maternity, spearheading Unit to achieve CNST highest level III (2008)
