Fractured ― Race Relations in "Post-racial" American Life

Questioning the concept of a post-racial society in the US, the author interviewed 87 college and high school students, professors, administrators and staff, community relations specialists, community organizers, international students, K-12 educators, and others across the US to understand their experiences with race and class issues. She describes their perspectives on the post-racial era, their experiences with race, how they have seen race relations change, racial dynamics in the classroom, the intersection of class with race, and other aspects.
