Nicoletta Costa is one of Italy's most beloved author-illustrators, with more than three hundred fifty books in print. Her bold compositions, colorful palette and cheery characters, including Olga the Cloud and Giulio Coniglio, are recognized internationally. Ms. Costa's intent has been to create characters that children can imitate and draw themselves. Ms. Costa, an advocate for children's causes and concerns, lives in Trieste.
