She has over 23 years of diverse management, supervisory and administrative experience in organizational development and workforce development. She is a member of the Academy of Human Resource Development and Academy of Management, and has published articles in Human Resource Development Review, Journal of Career Development, and Advances in Developing Human Resources. Her book Valuing People and Technology in the Workplace: A Competitive Advantage Framework won the R. Wayne Pace Book of the Year award in 2013.
Marilyn Byrd is Assistant Professor of Human Relations at the University of Oklahoma, USA. She is a member of the Academy of Human Resource Development and Academy of Management, as well as Associate Editor of Advances in Developing Human Resources. She has edited two books, Diversity in the Workforce and Handbook of Research on Workforce Diversity in a Global Society.
