The New York Times bestselling author of Nothing to Lose, Everything to Gainshares more hard-won life lessons and counterintuitive advice they don't teach you in business school.
Ryan Blair knows about learning lessons the hard way. In his first book, he chronicled his difficult childhood, his abusive and absentee father, and his rise from LA gang member to self-made multimillionaire entrepreneur.
Now Blair is back with more lessons and inspirational wisdom from his ongoing journey. Since the publication of his first book, he's faced the daily challenges of parenting an autistic son, a family medical crisis, and complicated business deals. As he looks back on his journey from risk-taking entrepreneur to multimillionaire, Blair realized that having everything to lose was actually tougher than having nothing to lose. But if your goal is to be a successful businessman, you have to roll the dice, and challenges are inevitable.
His new philosophy of "Everything to Lose" is for the person sitting on a small fortune who is looking to hit the jackpot. Now that you've won a hand or two, it's time to focus on winning the whole tournament. If "Nothing to Lose" is how you start a career as an entrepreneur, "Everything to Lose" is how you finish as a billionaire.
With wealth comes a myriad of problems-- "mo' money, mo' problems" as the song goes. Blair's life with nothing to lose helped him become the man who can handle life with everything to lose. He'll show us how to survive and thrive when everything is on the line.
