Nancy L. Cohen is an author, historian, and leading national expert on women and politics. Cohen holds a PhD in history from Columbia University, and is the author of three books on American politics, includingDelirium: The Politics of Sex in America and The Reconstruction of American Liberalism. Her writing has appeared in theGuardian, Playboy, the New Republic, the Los Angeles Times,Pacific Standard, and elsewhere, and she has been a featured guest on NPR, MSNBC, CSPAN, and many other national and international broadcasts. Currently she is a commissioner on the Los Angeles County Commission for Women.
