商品簡介
In these papers from a November 2014 workshop held in Oslo, international contributors in educational studies, sociology, psychology, and economics investigate causes, consequences, and especially institutional factors related to gender segregation in vocational education and training (VET). The book provides international comparative research on patterns of gender segregation in vocational education, looking at the situation in Australia, Canada, and countries of Europe, including Germany, Norway, and Bulgaria. The first part of the book contains cross-country comparisons, while the second part presents comparisons of regions and time periods within individual countries. Part 3 examines theoretical perspectives on educational choices from a life course perspective. Distributed in North America by Turpin Distribution.
