Since then, her work has developed a crafty cult following--there's nothing else quite like it out there.

In 2010, Chan released Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies, which featured patterns for crocheting food-inspired fashion accessories like hats, mittens, scarves, and tissue-box cozies. Chan learned to crochet from her best friend's grandmother when she was ten years old, and she has always turned to crochet to make gifts for friends and family. She has a B.A. in English/Creative Writing from Stanford University, but after working in the publishing industry for ten years, she now crafts and crochets full-time.
