商品簡介
Gregg Barrios’ latest collection of poems La Causa is a fascinating interplay of the eras, voices, and regions of Aztlan, all in a simultaneous dialogue with each other. La Causa is an evolution in time, maturity, political sophistication, and expectation – an invaluable document to any artistic or historical study of the soul of El Movimiento. The poems in this volume range from sonnets, concrete, songs, ballads, prose and narrative verse. It is a chronicle of the changes made in the aftermath of the Chicano Mexican American civil rights movement.
