Ed Walters is a teacher, historian, and information consultant to government agencies, film studios, and businesses. With more than twenty-five years of experience retrieving information from special library collections, databases, and the internet, he is a specialist in archives, rare books, and manuscripts. He is the creator, script writer, narrator, and performer of the PBS television program "The People's Outlaw in American Folk Music." His experience includes work with NASA, the Library of Congress, and the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum and nineteen years as Director of the Eugene McDermott Library at the University of Texas at Dallas.
