This book looks at the entire process of crime scene investigation, from securing the crime scene and collecting the evidence to how the evidence, once analyzed, can lead investigators to recreating events and establishing what happened. The author draws on her nearly 20 years in collective law enforcement and hands-on crime scene experience, as well as her academic experience teaching at several colleges, to produce a highly readable, comprehensive examination of crime scene investigation.
Gabriele Suboch, Ph.D., is an adjunct professor at Northcentral University. She teaches online forensics and graduate level law enforcement courses at various universities. Dr. Suboch also volunteers with the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office, where she actively responds to homicide cases. She is an expert witness in state and federal court and has worked on cold cases for defense attorneys.
