SIGHT WORD SOUP is a creative recipe of music, movement and interactive technology to reinforce essential sight words for beginning readers. Eight entertaining songs present a series of sight words beginning with early Kindergarten and progressing up through the end of 1st Grade. Students will first learn each song using projectable lyric files with highlighted sight words, and then reinforce learning by filling in the missing sight words in an interactive activity. The Teacher Book features reproducible melody song sheets with chord symbols and simple choreography, and inset graphics of the interactive lyric sheet activities found on the enclosed disc. The Enhanced CD includes audio recordings with and without singers, PLUS projectable song lyrics in PDF format with embedded audio recordings, and additional interactive lyric activities for IWBs and computers, compatible with SmartNotebook 11 and Promethean ActivInspire.
