Atlas of Animal Anatomy and Histology

?This atlas presents basic concepts and principles of functional animal anatomy and histology thereby conveying an understanding of evolutionary concepts and adaptation to the environment. The reader is provided with a step-to-step dissection guide illustrated by numerous colour photographs of the featured animals. Histological sections of the major organs are presented in parallel to the outer images of the respective organ. A wide range of interactive tutorials gives the reader the possibility to evaluate one’s understanding of the basic anatomy of the presented animals and histology of their organs.

All three authors are affiliated to the Eotvos University, Budapest, Hungary.
