商品簡介
The teaching of radicals, prefixes, and suffices which serve as generators for scientific terminologies often substitutes these days for the teaching of competency in Latin and Greek. As an aid to this approach, this dictionary lists thousands of semiotic units, or generators, in Latin characters, arranged in Latin alphabetical order. Each entry includes indication of its Greek or Latin origin, followed by the word from which it comes and its translation in each of six languages (illustrated when possible by examples). The translations have been taken from general or specialized dictionaries in the appropriate language. Annotation c. by Book News, Inc., Portland, Or.
