Omegaball is the story of a teenage quadriplegic genius named Laurie Everett. She's been confined to a wheelchair since birth, so she escapes her real life in a massive virtual realm called the Darknet, where she's a superstar Omegaball player.
But her life changes when two men approach her with promises of a better life. One is Glenn Booker, general manager for the Chicago Dreadnoughts Omegaball team, here in the real world. The other is the mysterious Darknet hacktivist Mr. Chalk. Glenn wants to draft her, while Mr. Chalk wants her to join his virtual army. Laurie must decide which world she wants to live in?the real world, where she'll always be disabled; or the Darknet, where she can be a superhero.

作者簡介
Robert J. Peterson is a writer and web developer living in Los Angeles. His debut novel, The Odds, came out in 2015.
A Tennessee native, he graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. He’s written for newspapers and websites all over the country, including the Marin Independent Journal, PerformInk, Space.com, the Telluride Daily Planet, and Geekscape.net. In 2004, he co-founded the pop-culture emporium CC2KOnline.com. He’s appeared on the web talk shows Comics on Comics, Collider Heroes, The Fanboy Scoop, Geekscape, and Fandom Planet. He’s the founder of California Coldblood Books.
His friends call him Bob.
