Ten Tears and One Embrace

Peter and his friends want to share their great discovery with you. We don’t only cry when we’re sad! This enthusiastic team of young scientists sets up a laboratory in a garage to study tears, and all the different things they can be used for. They are about to become explorers, in a sea of emotions . . .

Marta Sanmamed, an award winning author, is a multidisciplinary artist and has exhibited not only in Spain but also in the US and Europe. Winner of Gold Medal at the 2015 IPPY Awards for her title Cyparissus.
She is a writer, graphic designer / web editor for blogs and creative TV formats and she is a great promoter of funerary art and believes that "to get to know a city you must visit its market, oldest bookstore and its cemetery".

Mar Azabal is a graduate in Geography, specialising in Administration and archive conservation. Her real dream was to create stories through drawing and illustration. Since 2012 pencils and brushes make are her working tools, having achieved her dream. She currently lives in Toledo, Spain, and she spends her time teaching illustration courses for children, creating stories and enjoying raising her little child.

Jon Brokenbrow is an award winning translator with more than 60 children's books translated from Spanish - English. Winner of 2015 IPPY Award for Children's Picture Books with translation of Cyparissus by Marta Sanmamed, and winner of 2013/2014 International Latino Book Awards for Best Translator.
