作者簡介
Dr. William G. Doerner is a Professor in the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida State University. He specializes in victimology and law enforcement issues. He earned his M.A. in Sociology at Emory University and Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Tennessee. Doerner is also a part-time sworn law enforcement officer with the Tallahassee Police Department and works there as a one-person patrol unit. He is the author of several books and a number of journal articles that deal with the police selection process, training, use of force, and other law enforcement personnel issues.
Steven P. Lab is Professor and Director of the Criminal Justice Program and Chair of the Department of Human Services at Bowling Green State University. His research interests include victims of crime, crime prevention, juvenile delinquency, and school crime. Lab received his Ph.D. in Criminology from Florida State University. He is the author of three textbooks and two edited works, and has published more than 30 articles on various topics.
