This book presents a comprehensive overview of the various aspects for mobility and transportation to be smart and seamless. It focuses on smart mobility asT the future of human centered and business triggered ecosystems is increasingly dependent on the coordination capabilities of all participating and influencing members to manage transportation needs. Even more the fulfillment of the right to mobility for individual and cargo related mobility asks for mobility enablement in a predictive, digital and intermodal manner.
To foster the right to mobility the following three key tasks are subject to decision makers, enablers and service providers: (1) target the strategic influence of mobility offerings to-wards the real needs of individuals and cargo, (2) turn offerings into a seamless mobility offering and (3) develop a sentinel that is able to detect critical and limiting events and transform them into positive recommendations.
