BEN KATCHOR, guest editor, is the cartoonist of Hand-Drying in America; The Jew of New York;Julius Knipl, Real Estate Photographer: The Beauty Supply District; and The Cardboard Valise.?He has received a Guggenheim Memorial Foundation fellowship and a MacArthur Foundation fellowship. ?
