Professor Yair Amichai-Hamburger is Director of the Research Center for Internet Psychology (CIP), based at the Sammy Ofer School of Communications at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel. His first book,The Social Net: Human Behavior in Cyberspace, was published by OUP in 2005 and his second book,Technology and Psychological Well-being, by CUP in 2009. A second edition ofThe Social Net was published in 2013.
