Basic Conducting Techniques

Basic Conducting Techniques, Seventh Edition provides a clear and intelligible introduction to the art of conducting an ensemble. Over twenty chapters lay out the elements of conducting, followed by an extensive selection of musical examples from the classical repertoire. This seventh edition has been updated to include the full scores of key excerpts. A companion website now accompanies the book, providing additional resources including transposed scores, recordings of the excerpts, and video demonstrations of techniques.

The new edition will feature:
