Millennial Vegan ─ Tips for Navigating Relationships, Wellness, and Everyday Life As a Young Animal Advocate

Millennials, people between the ages of 15 and 34, make up nearly half of the current vegan population. Despite being dealt a bad deal by prior generations, this generation is increasingly able to see past all the ways our society indoctrinates us to use nonhuman animals. Dr. Casey T. Taft is Professor of Psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine and an internationally recognized researcher in the area of family violence prevention. He was the primary developer of the first and only programs shown to prevent and end family violence in military populations through randomized controlled trials, and he is currently implementing these programs across healthcare systems and within military settings. Dr. Taft has chaired an American Psychological Association task force on trauma and consulted with the United Nations on preventing violence and abuse globally. He has recently published two other books, Motivational Methods for Vegan Advocacy: A Clinical Psychology Perspective and Trauma-Informed Treatment and of Intimate Partner Violence. Dr. Taft is cofounder of Vegan Publishers and a dedicated vegan.
