3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions are applicable to this standard.
3.1 Car Body
It is a general name for the upper structure of the locomotive which can emplace and protect the power9 transmission, cooling and auxiliary facilities and provide a good working environment for the crew.In terms of bearing type,it can be divided into load-bearing body and not-load-bearing body, and in terms of car body shape, it can be divided into cover body and shed body.
A)Load-bearing body
b)Not-load-bearing body
c)Cover body
d)Shed body
[GB/T 3367.4-2000, definition 2]
3.2 Steel Structure
Main bearing structure above the running gear including all the parts and components fixed on the structure to improve directly strength, stiffness and stability.
[GBlT 3367.4-2000, definition 2.1]
3.3
Lining Structure
Fillers and components fixed inside the locomotive which are used to heat, insulate sound, reduce noise, support and fix equipment, and which are used for internal decorations.
4 Technical Requirements
4.1 Environment Requirements
4.1.1 Car body shall be able to be used in an environment with ambient temperature of -40 ℃+40℃ and relative humidity less than or equivalent to 95%.
4.1.2 Car body shall be able to withstand the invasions of natural environment suoh as wind, dust, rain and snow.
4.2 Basic Requirements
4.2.1 Car body shall be manufactured according to the product drawings and technical documents approved through specified procedures and comply with the provisions of this standard.
4.2.2 The strength of steel structure shall comply with the provisions and standards specified in GB/T 3314.The fatigue strength of critical parts such as key welding seams, equipment joints, edges and corners of door and window frames on locomotive, etc.may be calculated and evaluated.
4.2.3 Under servicing condition, the car body stiffness shall meet the requirement of the upper deflection value of the steel structure being within the range of 0-10 mm.
4.2.4 Under servicing condition, the ratio of car body bending natural vibration frequency to bogie nodding and bouncing vibration frequency shall be over or equivalent to 1.4 and the lowest bending free vibration frequency shall be over or equivalent to 10 Hz.
