Lectures, Problems and Solutions for Ordinary Differential Equations

Deng presents notes for 25 80-minute lectures and about 1,000 problems with solutions regarding ordinary differential equations. He offers examples from sciences, engineering, economics, and other real world applications, some he adapted from well known textbooks and others he composed. A by-product, he says, is that students learn theorem-proving while mastering the art of applying the equations. At a level suitable for undergraduate students, he covers first-order differential equations, mathematical models, linear differential equations of higher order, systems of linear differential equations, and Laplace transforms.
