Young Life ― The Adventures of an Ex Staffer

For anyone familiar with the international youth ministry known as Young Life, this book traces the life of a man as it relates to coming to faith through Young Life, and later serving as a volunteer and then a staff worker for over twenty years. It’s a lightly structured historical narrative, not so much academic as it his warm, friendly and humorous in its writing style, depicting a lot of “what we did” but also some “why we did what we did.” For those not familiar with Young Life but who may be interested, the book provides historical insight into what made this organization great and what still marks it today as one of the most outstanding youth ministries in the world.
