Bonnie Sparrman is grateful for how being a mother has enriched her life. She and her husband, Eric, have three children of their own and one who joined the family as a German exchange student. Johanna, Bjorn, Karl-Jon, and Isabel, are past the baby-stage, but lessons they taught their parents are worth remembering.

Bonnie is also a registered nurse, writer, culinary instructor, corporate team builder, and consummate baker, who believes that fresh cardamom bread goes a long way to promote friendship and love.
