The tests and procedures were at times unnecessary and at other times done with no explanation about what they were or what they were going to do. Some of the procedures were absolutely barbaric! Everyone should know what is going to happen to them if that's their wish. If you don't want to know anything about anything, that works too, but I DID want to know. Even with all the research I had done from start to finish there were still surprising shocks at every turn. This will be the longest year of your life. You'll be strong during a lot of the time, but there will also be times it will seem too overwhelming to get through one more day. I'm fourth generation raised in the same town we currently reside. I am married, have a daughter, son, and one granddaughter. I have never written a book before, although I have always been interested in literature. I wanted to write this book to help women going through the most frightening chapter in their life. I've been there and lived through it! I want them to survive also.
