Robert Ackerson lives in the small upstate New York community of Schenevus. Formerly a public school teacher, he now writes on a wide variety of automotive topics. Among his titles are Veloce Publishing's Ford F-100/F-150 Pickup 1953 to 1996 and Chrysler 300 – America's Most Powerful Car. Having owned several F-series pickups, he is very familiar both with their heritage and their versatility. When Chrysler began introducing it's new hemi V-8's in the early fifties, Bob's interest in MOPAR was piqued, and a half-century later, with the older Chargers regarded as high -performance classics, and the new models at the forefront of a new age of high-performance, it's stronger than ever.
