Yasmin Newman is a food and travel writer, photographer and TV presenter of Filipino heritage. 7000 Islands, her first book, is a journey through the exotic land of her mother. She has also subsequently written The Desserts of New York, which involved packing up her young family to live with her brother for a foodlover's adventure in one of the world's most iconic cities.
