This second book takes the story forward with accounts of some of those who took the Gospel message into some of these“regions beyond”. Missionaries from this country ventured into the unknown, motivated by the love of God and a senseof His call to bring the message of saving grace “into all the world”. We have called them Trailblazers of the Gospel, for sothey were. You can follow their stories in the first section of this book.We have also attempted to describe some of the Triumphs of the Gospel in the UK during the 19th and 20th centuries, andalso in some parts of the USA. Great revivals did happen and thousands of individuals from all walks of life were led intothe triumph of the crucified, risen and glorified Christ. The second section of the book contains stirring accounts fromthese past days when so many found the Gospel to be “the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes” (Rom1.16).All these accounts have been put together from a variety of sources. May they stir us with renewed gratitude for our Christianheritage, and with a fresh thrill at the evidence of the working of the Holy Spirit in past days. May we be stirred also toseek and pray for a fresh visitation of divine grace in these present days, in the darkening and closing days of this dispensationof God's grace in which we are called to live for Christ and witness to His saving power before He comes again.?
