語言時空論（簡體書）

For over centuries linguists have attempted to look for the characteristics of language from historical and structural perspectives that would establish general principles for language existence. However, such an ambition seems to be an illusion, as these approaches study language without any clear conception of how space and time are incorporated into the integrity of language system. In this subtly argued book, the author puts forward a space-time perspective in linguistics. She offers a theory of how language exists in space and time, and therefore, a theoretical account of the mechanism for language change, which would account both for the totality of language existence and for the reasons language changes. 語言時空觀是研究語言的一種根本性的觀點。它將時間和空間視為語言系統整體性存在的必要組成部分。在時空觀的視界裡，時間和空間必然被理解為概念的存在，而且，它們的概念應當是從語言系統整體存在中獲得的。以這種觀點來認識語言，從時間和空間不斷交融的過程重新探索語言及語言流變現象之間的聯繫，解釋語言時空視域之下語言所彰顯的流變著的網絡狀態，並由此抽繹出一種全新的且有張力的研究方法。
