A catalogue of the group show, curated by Eric de Chassey at the Academie de France a Rome from June 11 to September 14, 2014. The exhibition shows three periods in the career of four artists; the Italian Fabio Mauri, the American Marcia Hafif, the French Martin Barre and the Swiss Olivier Mosset. With their research, they embody the developments of the complex question of the end of painting, that the artists know from the beginning of abstraction in early XX century.
