The Turtle-a Parody

Tuttle T. Turtle, or "Tut" for short, was just minding his business in his west Texas town when a traveling armadillo enlisted him (without his knowledge) on a quest. A quest to help a dozen or so basset hounds recover their ancient mountain homeland from a fierce, feral pig known as Haug.. Across plains they travel, encountering not-quite-magical-or-wise felines, threatening mudcats, a tennis-obsessed bear, helpful puffins, at least one brave beaver, and the fiercely dreaded scourge of the west: chupacabralopes. Will Tut have the courage to use his unique skills to aid this valiant endeavor, or will he wilt in the hot Texas sun? Find out in this lovingly-wrought parody/tribute to one of the greatest stories ever written down in the English language. (And enjoy the easy readability of this book being written in real English.
